Should deferees be allowed to hope?

<p>Does anyone else find this strange? Who else publishes wait list stats?</p>

<p>Whoa, those stats from MIT don’t make sense. I’m also skeptical about the 32% waiting list acceptance rate, but it’s interesting to hear.</p>

<p>Waiting list is different from deferral. Deferral is only an early decision thing but waiting list is after regular decision.</p>
