Should Essays be about Extracurriculars?

<p>Should essays (especially for top schools) be about extracurriculars? Or can they really be about anything as long as they display your personality?</p>

<p>They certainly should not recount your entire resume or even more than one EC. But do they need to be about EC’s? Absolutely not.</p>
