I never even thought about titling my essays (which have already been submitted). How many of you do this?

I titled my main essay but did not title the supplemental ones.

i'd say yes, for college admissions...
Essays, if they're true essays, should have one from what I know.
But god knows that these types of things are different at different schools...

I didn't title any of mine. I had never even heard of people putting titles on college essays before coming on to CC.

It depends on the topic of the essay I guess. If you just write about how badly you want to attend a certain school or how a certain person influenced your life, you really don't need a title.
My personal essay was a short narrative though and I really felt that it needed a title.

I didn't have a title, which I realized after I submitted it. And then I panicked for a couple of minutes before I realized that the chances of a missing title affecting admissions were probably miniscule.

I seriously wouldn't worry about it. Your essay probably speaks for itself. Of course, there's a problem if, by the end of your essay, the reader still has no idea what you're talking about, but I doubt that's the case.

I titled all of mine. However, my rule is that if you can't think of a good title, the essay is probably better off without one.
