I'm a freshman in high school currently.
I'm double accelerated in math, possibly moving up to 3X-unlikely, as I would have to self-study precalc, and show 'proficiency'. My school usually ranks in top 100 HS's, and people sometimes say that precalc here is harder than calculus. I've been learning calc outside of school via kumon (not really comparable, but teaches the concepts well enough).

Anyways, thats not my question.

I'm primarily interested in biology, and I'm taking two sciences this year so I can take AP Physics B and AP Bio next year.

That being said, i feel that my math is really 'weak'. Like I can do problems well enough, and I have a pretty good understanding of what i know so far, but it seems somehow that I'm not particularly good at the math competition type questions.
I know that a lot pf people study for these types of questions in particular, but even so, I don't really think that i'm really 'flexible' in math.

Saying that i want to study stuff outside of school- I don't really feel like school stuff is going into enough depth, should I focus on improving my math concepts, or studying biochemistry on my own.
I really enjoy biochem, and I studied it over the summer a bit, and I'm applying to mostly bio oriented summer programs, but I feel like my math needs work.

suggestions/advice would be very appreciated!

thanks in advance
