Hello, I am a senior that has been accepted at App State, NC State, and UNC-CH, but I am also waiting for a decision from UVA. I wanted to ask: Should I wait until UVA gives me my decision in March before I choose, or should I try to choose on the ones available before the end of the month? I worry that if I wait, then I may lose out on chances for classes/dormrooms for the school that I choose, but I don’t want to choose if I end up getting into UVA. Thanks!
Each of the schools to which you have been invited should supply you information on when you can select dorm rooms and when you can choose classes. That often may not be for several months but some do allow the selection earlier. So, I would suggest to find out those dates for each of the schools; if it is not in the information that they have sent to you, it is probably available on their website. Then you will be better able to decide; perhaps you lose nothing by waiting or, if you really will run the chance of losing out on priority selection of classes and dorm rooms, you’ll want to make a decision.
