Should I add another major and/or minor? I think I'm taking the easy way out...

I just finished my sophomore year at U of M and I've currently declared an International Studies major (subplan = global health and environment) and a Medical Anthropology minor

I'm not going to lie, neither of these concentrations have a ton of requirements and they're relatively easy to fulfill. I'm super interested in all of the classes, but do you think I'm "taking the easy way out" so to speak? I want to pursue a career in public health, but I'm concerned that future employers/graduate schools might not be very impressed with my degree.

I was considering a minor in french (I'm studying abroad in france this summer), but I find that I don't get much out of language classes here and I've been told that it doesn't matter. i don't know.

Is it too late to double major? probably... ugh, i don't know what to do

You need to check for the credit requirement. It may be not too late for declare a second major in junior year if you already have part of the credits covered. Otherwise, you still have summer/spring terms to catch up for graduating in 4 years. You do need to think about your career plan (both for work or further study). I know someone graduated with major in Asian Studies and worked $10/hr for several years until he went back to school to get a certificate on some IT related field.

you can still double major depending on the credits you currently have. what type of public health are you interested in? taking some programming classes could be helpful for your grad school apps.

More math and science classes would also help you, even if you don’t declare an official double major.
