I read on here that adding a resume (mine is a page) is pretentious and unnecessary, unless you have some really important info on there that you couldn’t otherwise fit in. My resume is basically covered in my CommonApp, there are two or three small things that I couldn’t fit on my CommonApp application (a club I’m part of, a small volunteering service that I do, etc.) My college counselor told me I should add it, do you all agree?
Are those three things important enough that would significantly add to the application? Chances are they are not. College admissions officers only have a limited amount of time to review each application, so you want them to focus on the important stuff, which I am sure you have already highlighted elsewhere. It doesn’t make sense if it is mostly a repeat.
