<p>I’d suggest you don’t spend too much time thinking about the reaches, and concentrate on the matches. What you need on your list are more schools that fit you exactly, that give good aid. With everything going on with your mother, do you really want to go to school in a pressure cooker (Penn, Cornell)? Think of where you will be happy, not about prestige.</p>

<p>Be careful with this. The John and Abigail Adams Scholarship is only $1714 per year. It covers full tuition at UMASS. Unfortunately tuition is $1714. However fees are an additional $11,500. Yeah, I know, I’m sorry to tell you that.</p>
<p>Temple has a strong communications program and extensive regional alumni network. The campus area has been upgraded significantly; admissions have become much more selective; there’s an honors program, as well as merit money. You’re at a major train station that’s an Amtrak stop.</p>
