Should I admit learning about Vassar through a film?

A piece on Vassar being in various films, TV shows, etc. (“media”): http://vassarmedia.blogspot.com/

@vassardad‌ Thank you for the link!

@merc81‌ That’s right, I wanted you to add it! That was my trap. I won, this time.

When it comes to great books, I read the plot prior to reading the book itself. That way, I can enjoy the language and understand the meaning more easily.

You’re right. I don’t have ALL the copies. I wish I did. This is the tragedy of my life.
Yet the number of ones I own is ever-growing. Whenever I go to a foreign country, I purchase a copy. To date, I have read it in four different languages. Of course, nothing beats the original.

If anybody ever asks me what I was doing on a Vassar College thread toward the end of 2014, I’ll just say . . . God, I wish you could’ve been there.

It had become a thread that lost its original point long ago, it had become outdated and irrelevant. I didn’t care, though. Every time I checked it, I felt so happy all of a sudden, the way the old Catcher quotes, with no end to them in sight, kept going around and around. I was near bawling, I felt so happy, if you want to know the truth. I don’t know why. It was just that it felt so nice, the way the discussion kept going around and around. You’re right, @merc81‌ . God, I wish you could’ve been there.
