Here is the story. I only applied to two schools this year and was rejected by one and wait listed by the other. The school that wait listed me said they were very impressed with my application and that they would like to offer me admission (pending funding issues). At the end of the email they asked me to let them know about any competing offers I have received.

However, I applied to both schools with full intentions of going to whichever one let me in. Thankfully (I guess), I did not have to pick between the two as the other school already said no. Because of this, the waitlisted school has become the one school I wish to attend. I did mention the fact that I only applied to two schools in my application, so they know that.

So I can either

A) Reply to the email saying I have no competing offers and that this school is the primary school I wish to attend.

Or

B) Do nothing and hope they let me in.

Your thoughts?
