Should i appeal?

GPA: 3.6 (kind of low)
SAT:1900 w/a 750 on the math
SAT II:710 MathIIC, 680 US Hist, 610 Chem
have taken 5 APs and i am currently taking 4 APs
5 on calc BC test, 4 on US history

The main problem with my application was that i go a D, sadly

hmm that D really kills :[. go and read my "should i appeal" thread. you might get some ideas on appealing. honestly, though, appeal only if you are serious about going to UCD. appealing won't hurt so try it!

i am taking a community college course in order to replace the D and so far i have an A in the class
I also got a 4.0 W GPA this semester, so hopefully that will help.

well, they don't like at senior grades.

i made up two classes, and i got in.. so i'm sure if you make it up, you would be fine.

My GPA is almost exactly the same as yours, but my SATs are slightly higher.
1940, 750 on Bio, 660 on US History.
I also got rejected, but no D's. A few C's, though. I have also taken 4 AP tests so far and passed all of them. I'm currently taking 3 AP classes this year. I was going to appeal but the number of decisions they reverse is pretty low. If you really want to go there, you've got nothing to lose. I also got accepted at UCI and UCSB, which I thought was kinda interesting. Oh yeah, I know someone with a 3.2 and similar SATs to me who got in.
