Should I appeal?

Hey folks,
I thought my stats and eca should have given me a fair chance of acceptance to nyu.
So before i go on my stats and eca -

SAT I (breakdown): Not taken
ACT (breakdown):34(E-35, M-34, R-34, S-33)
SAT II: Math Level 2-800, Chem-800, Physics-800
Predicted Percentage - 98.7
Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): top 10
AP (place score in parenthesis): Not taken any
Senior Year Course Load: In a CBSE(National Government Board) school - course load almost equal to 4 AP courses(Phy, Chem, Math, CS)

Extracurriculars:
I have published a Research Paper on Acta Astonautica Journal of Elsevier on GAGAN and future airports
2 projects on Data Science to be used in my school from the next academic year(LORs mention the same)
Zonal Level Table Tennis Player
Certified Scuba Diver
Working on creating an 8-bit computer using breadboards
Designed a Journal to enhance productivity for high-school students - working on releasing and selling copies on Amazon
Job/Work Experience: None
Volunteer/Community service: Helped initiate Storytelling sessions for underprivileged students to teach elementary English with AASHA Foundation
Summer Activities: Completed various online courses on Data Science and Mathematics - Part of an online Data Science invite-only community
I have completed the “Fork Python” course by GeeksforGeeks, “Cutting-Edge Deep Learning for Coders” by fast.ai, and participated in the Genpact India Machine Learning Hackathon in which I designed a Decision Tree in order to predict the Food Demand a food-delivery company could expect in a day. Furthermore, I am also working on a proposal for energy plants of the future as part of the Schneider Go Green in the City 2019 competition.
I worked with a few of my friends to develop a two-sided evaluation platform using C++ and SQL. I feel this project challenged us to think of novel ways to use our pre-existing knowledge and explore a variety of use-cases. I also used my knowledge of breadboards and electronics to design breadboard circuits which behaved as logic gates.

That is my eca list. I was hoping to get nyu as a prof there has been my inspiration and it was my dream since 11th grade to work with him.
Could someone please guide me?

Acceptance as an international student is very difficult, even with superb stats. I don’t see any basis for an appeal.

An appeal is not something that you do because you think that you should have gotten accepted but weren’t. An appeal is something that you do because there was an error made and you feel that the error had an impact on your application. For example if someone sent the wrong transcript, or the college board forgot to send them your SAT scores then you have grounds for an appeal.

@DadTwoGirls, is absolutely correct: appealing usually means there was an error in the paperwork (There was a glitch somewhere on the part of your high school or your college board scores). It is not meant to be used for someone who doesn’t like the admissions results.

You already were admitted to two very good schools, per your other posts: UCD and UCSD, but I guess you don’t feel they are good enough for you? I’m sure India has some good options for you as well.
