that's what i can think of rite now...
I know my SAT scores doesn't seem quite good... but still, are there any chances for me to get into YALE through Early Action? What if I can raise my scores to 2250?

rite... today's meeting with someone who has already got the offer made my will of applying for EA of Yale even stronger.
There's no much chance but i think i'd better bet for my DREAM...
Gambling... Sag...

If Yale is your dream school then by all means apply Early Action to Yale. You don't want to live in a world of things that you could have done. Maybe you'll get in, maybe you won't but at least you will have tried.

I would still b grateful to hear any analysis and advices, though.

By the way, I intend to study International Relationship or something related to it, and I have done lots of cultural exchange programs(which are not completely listed here), should I mention that in my application?

Take the TOEFL, colleges want to make sure that you are top notch in English so that there are no difficulties with written assignments (even if you want to pursue a math-science degree.) The SAT IIs are critical, and I would be very impressed of you pulled an 800 on the U.S. History. That would look excellent. You just need to fine tune some things and you'll have a shot. Like it has been mentioned before, the foreign pool is very strong and many times it comes down to proficiency in English.

well i for one go to New York University which got this b.s. ranking from princeton review as "#1 Dream School" and everyone thinks it means we're now on par with like Oxford University.

i mean seriously, what kind of criteria legitimizes "dream school" anyway? Like the most number of people buy a shirt from the bookstore..? the olsen twins? I dont know. it makes no sense. its stupid.

and i guess on a personal level its just really difficult for me to think i can call an institution some magical place ive been dreaming of...i just would like to think ultimate goals are beyond that...but then again, im sitting here posting on an online thread...

:)
It's true that we all have an ultimate goal (which is a lot higher then what we are discussing now...)
However, "dream" can still be defined as long as we are seeking for something... like I wanna get into Yale college...So it's my dream now:).
