should i apply ea to stanford or wait till rd?

Ok i have a very tough decision to make within the next couple of days.

I am not sure if i should just apply ed or wait until rd. I heard that stanford outright rejects many ed applicants and there may be no chance of defferal until the rd round.

Here are some of my stats

3.8UW GPA
Low sat score - 1920
Good ec's, good ap scores
good recs

maybe ill get a hook being a urm and low income, but i don't know.
should i just wait until i get my test scores up, because id really like to no early that i got accepted as stanford is my top choice.

Thanx for the opinions

um i mean scea.... typo

Hey did u do Questbridge? Is low income considered a hook?

hi.. got this from my school website.. modified some of the points such that it applies in general instead of only to Singaporean students..

Who should apply?
-You are a safe candidate (your scores fall comfortably in the median range for that college) but not terribly special.
-Controversial, unverifiable and perhaps not true: you push up statistics. Your SAT scores are particularly high but your school record was not really strong (for that college). i'm not sure what this means.. do you?

Who shouldn't apply?
-Your record as of December is not terribly strong, so you feel it would be advantageous to apply Regular Decision or in the next batch.
E.g. your SAT scores are very weak and you need to retake them after December; your application would benefit from work experience.
-You need to compare financial aid packages from your first-choice school with other schools'. Often the best packages come from the lesser-known schools.

actually this was for early decision. just extracted some of the points which can apply to early action... does this help?
