Should i apply early-?

Hey so i was wondering if i should go for applying early. The early action is due by Nov 1ST and was wondering if i still send my senior year first semester grades by then? I mean its only half way through the semester, but i would like to increase my GPA just a bit more because i bit i am borderline for most of my schools. Does anyone know if your senior year semester grades will go with my transcript for early action? If they don't is it better for me to go for normal deadline which i believe is Jan. 1st. By then i should be able to increase my GPA and would my first semester be on my transcript?
I would ask my counselor but since this is summer they are on leave.
My GPA is currently a 4.289- and i have a 31 act
I am looking to apply to U of I, Minnesota, Wisconson Madison, the Ohio State, Purdue, and rose hulman. I believe i am borderline to reach for most of these schools- i am looking at schools of computer science not their LAS. so is early action more beneficial or increase grades a bit more. My uw gpa is about 3.53 Rank top 10 percent

If you are unhappy with the GPA that you had at the end of junior year you should not apply early to any schools…

The question is, are you sure that one semester would really change your GPA significantly?

I believe it will, last semester i got straight As and it moved me up a from a 4.167 to a 4.289- since i will be doing pass/fail for gym -all my classes will be on a 5.0 scale- again i think i should be able to move it up top at least a 4.35 W and from 3.53 to 3.6. I don’t know if it is significant- i think you would no more than me- which would be better increase my gpa by that stated amount or apply early?

You better check the school whether they consider weighed or uw GPA. 3.53 vs 3.6 or EA/RD. It is a touch decision. Particularly 3.53 is below average for most of the school on the list while 3.6 is slightly above average for some.

anyone else have any suggestions

also billscho where do you get those numbers from… because they seem wrong
