Hey Guys,

What are my chances in getting to jhu applying ed and is it really worth it for pre-med?

Here’s my ‘resume’ :

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • GPA: 4.10
  • Credits Earned: 121 (after Junior Year)
  • Intended College Major: Pre-Med

STANDARDIZED TESTS:

SAT: 1930 (Plan to retake and get 2200+)
ACT: 30

AP Biology Exam: 4

Biology SAT II: 720
Chemistry SAT II: 630

I retook the ACTs and know that I can reach my goal for the SATs because I was already scoring around the 2150s but I guess anxiety got the best of me that day…
I going to be a senior next year but this year I got a C final average for AP physics I…will this affect my chances by a lot?? This class is probably one of the hardest classes offered at my school!

The ACT is offered again in September but the SAT is not offered until October. It may be hard to get those scores in on time. However, if you know JHU is the school for you I don’t see why you shouldn’t try!

It is definitely worth it for pre-med and that’s actually one of the hardest programs offered there

You seem like a strong applicant. Your additional skills are interesting. You seem like generally well-rounded person rather concentrating on one aspect of your interest. But a lot of your activities are different. You also have a leadership position which is good.

But bring UP those scores you should be fine. I’m also applying to JHU, I just wanted to give you pointers on what they like (let’s hope I’m right haha) Good luck, hope to see you there :wink: :smiley:

Howdy Folks LOong time no see! I am sorry for the delay but I took the SAT for a total of two times and superscored I have a 2020 (…not sending that) and I have a 31 super scored ACT but took it for the third time today actually LOL
