Should I apply ED?

<p>Hello everyone! Of the schools I want to go to, UPenn is one of the ones that I want to go to most. I want to study engineering, and my question is whether I should apply early decision, or would I have a chance with regular decision?</p>

<p>This is me:</p>

<p>Current GPA (Unweighted): 3.7
Current Weighted GPA: 5.0</p>

<p>I feel extremely confident I will do very well on every test this year.</p>

<p>I am currently finishing Spanish I through Florida Virtual School, and will begin taking Spanish II and AP Art History online by the second week of the next school year.</p>

<p>ACT Score: 32
First SAT Score: 730 Writing, 710 Reading, 650 Math (2090 Total)
I know my SATs are low, but I am confident I can reach 2200 on the next take, with at least 700 in math.</p>

<p>I took Math I, Math II, and Physics SATIIs last month, and I expect mid 700s in all of them.</p>

<p>You really need to work on your EC the rest is good.</p>

<p>As long your SAT Math score move up, I think you have a pretty high chance of getting. Although I notice you have taken alot a math, science and engineering courses which is great but you should consider joining the school newspaper because selective schools like UPenn liketo see well rounded students.</p>

<p>I’m happy to hear that I have a chance, albeit I do have weaknesses that I could work on, so thank you for the suggestions.</p>

<p>Would I have a chance applying regular decision, or would it be better to apply ED in order to get in?</p>

<p>You probably want to apply early decision, because their regular admission rate this year was like 14%!</p>
