Should I apply for Finaid at Northwestern?

i already got into (via likelies/early write) dartmouth, unc-ch, uva, northwestern, and williams. when i filled out my CSS, however, i didn't select northwestern b/c i didn't have enough money to cover it. today its finaid office called me to ask for my missing forms (i only submitted FAFSA). should i still apply for aid? my reasons for not doing it are 1)i'm really strapped for money 2) my ultimate selection of northwestern is going to be horribly slim b/c i think dartmouth and williams will offer much much better aid and if something goes horribly wrong, there is still uva. i'm pretty low-income so i will qualify for dartmouth's elimination of loans for first-year students with a certain amount of income, and williams i know is just crazy nice and rich in general. i am in-state for uva (where i might qualify for their AccessUVA program, not sure), which is why i said "there is still uva." have i covered all bases here, or should i still apply for aid for other reasons?

bump......

ask for a fee waiver. if they still want the CSS, when i did mine i automatically got waivers for a lot of it based on the information inside. if you think NU is remotely an option, then do it. if not, then don't bother. but i'm sure if you explain your situation to their office they'll take care of you.
