Does it influence my application if I was rejected by that school as a freshman applicant?

If your stats are considerably better than they were when you first applied, then no it shouldn’t matter.

Thanks.
But still confused… My stats wasn’t bad at that time, but my essay was. Will former result influence my chance?
Anyone has experience like that?

Schools state (sometimes) that students who who were not granted for Freshman admissions refrain from applying after less than a year of study (aka, during freshman year). If you’ve been out of school for more than that, it shouldn’t matter.

Thank you.
I’m just afraid that they will do differently from what they claim…

It shouldn’t matter. I got into a school I had initially been rejected from during transfer admissions. I wound up choosing a different school to attend, but it was incredibly rewarding knowing that I’d made it. One of my current suitemates was initially waitlisted and rejected from our school. Ultimately, learn from your mistakes and craft your application differently from the last time. Good luck!

Thank you so much! and Congratulations!

I am comforted, because there are schools I really want to attend.
