What do you want to study?

ED will give you an advantage, but your GPA and scores are pretty low. You might want to retake the ACT and aim for a 32+

Total reach; but going ED will help you and great essays can make a huge difference.
Has JHU been good to your school in the past? Has anyone with your stats got in before?

Good luck!

I want to get into either premed or biomed engineering. Thanks for your responses

Biomedical engineering is one of the most competitive majors at Johns Hopkins and it is a crapshoot for all applicants. Right after that, the pre med majors (i.e. Nat/phys sci majors and Public Health) and the Social science majors. Your numbers, unfortunately, don’t match up to their rigor (though your ACT should help a lot, like the others said, I would retake and shoot for 32+) but your emphasis on research should go a long way because Hopkins is a research university and emphasizes intellectual curiosity above all else.

Best of luck though :)
