<p>The deadline for Cornell Fall '08 is not until March 15th, which means I can start my app now and I should be okay as far as getting things together goes. </p>
<p>I'm currently a freshman at Cal. I know that waiting until I've been at Cal for over a year will give me a stronger chance, but obviously I'd prefer to transfer to any school as soon as possible. If I get rejected for Fall '08 will it look even worse to apply Fall or Spring '09???</p>
<p>Probably should mention that I'm mainly looking at A & LS which is less competitive than A & S.</p>
<p>If you need my stats, this is a rough outline:</p>
<p>HS GPA: 4.5
Rank: 5/400
SAT I: 2250
SAT II Bio: 750
SAT II History: 760
College GPA (after 1 semester): 3.636
Gen Chemistry- B
Intro Environmental Sci- A
Calculus A</p>
<p>HS Extracurriculars: many
College Extracurriculars: None so far, applied for two apprentice/internships and should hear back soon...</p>
<p>What do you all think? Should I wait?</p>
