Should i apply rolling as soon as possible or should i try to raise my GPA?

Effective this year Michigan no longer has rolling admissions but a standard EA process, get your app in by Nov 1 (I believe) and you should have an answer by Christmas.

Fall 2011
Early Action Deadline: 11/01/10
Rolling Deadline: 02/01/11

Spring 2011

Regular Decision Deadline: 10/01/10

there still is rolling

I agree that the wording is ambiguous but the web page makes it clear that early action applications must be in by November 1st and that after that date admissions will sporadically send out decision letters. This is a change from previous years when the entire process was rolling from the outset, (in years past students applied in August and occasionally had answers by October, this appears to no longer be the case). It appears that you increase your chances of admission by applying as soon as possible but that the earliest you will hear is mid-December.
