<p>Hi, I am all for UCF, it's really the only school I want to go too(I even have a little UCF shrine in my room). I plan on majoring in either Event Management or Hospitality Management. I am currently at the end of my junior and have taken my SAT and ACT multiple times and have a good GPA. Along with many volunteer hours, clubs, etc. </p>
<p>here is my question:
Now since this years seniors have til May 1st to apply for the 2011 Fall Term, does that mean starting May 2nd, you can start applying for the 2012 Fall Term? (I want to apply after my school gets out, the last week of May (this way I can have my official transcript), because I want to make my chances as HIGH as I possibly can.). </p>
<p>Also should I major in Hospitality or Event?</p>

<p>no, seniors do not have intill may 1st to apply. May 1st is the deadline that you have to commit to the university. and your sat and act are a little low</p>

<p>you should start applying over the summer. the earlier you apply the better chance you have of getting in</p>
<p>Yes apply over the summer ! Find out when the app comes out. I wish I would have, saves a lot of time and stress . Make sure you that you signify that you will be taking the ACT or SAT again if you are so that they know and may wait to make a decision until your new (and hopefully improved) scores get there.</p>
<p>My application was in the day before my senior year classes started. Personally, I think anything earlier than that is over kill and won’t really make a difference. Just my opinion. I had a very strong application (610 reading, 660 math, 3.9 unweighted, 4.3 weighted) and STILL didn’t hear back till October. </p>
<p>Good luck on your second SAT and ACT tests. I jumped up from an 1190 to a 1270 the second time, so hopefully you improve! I never even took the ACT because I hit the bright futures 100% right on the nose! </p>
<p>UCF is gonna start getting harder to get into soon. We’re the third biggest in the country, time to start being selective. Hopefully you are not at the beginning of this cycle.</p>
