Should I apply to another reach school?

My stats: 1970 on the SAT (CR- 670 M-630)

GPA: 3.75 (No rank)

My reach schools so far are USC, Northwestern, and Northeastern and I have a whole lot of matches and safeties.

I am interested in writing and journalism.

It can be anywhere in the country. As a URM, I would prefer a diverse student body (at least 25% minority).

Size- Medium to Large
Local Area- Suburban or Urban but must have a closed campus. I really want to experience a campus community.

Also, D1 sports is a must have.

As for money, that's not really a concern. My parents make a lot so I'm not counting on much (if any) need based aid.

I would prefer a school that is fairly generous with merit scholarships.

I have no strong interest in any particular school, but maybe there is a hidden gem out there for me. Thank you!

What are your matches and safeties?

@intparent‌ My matches are UMiami, UFlorida, and SyracuseU.

And my safeties are Alabama (accepted) UMinn: Twin Cities (accepted) , SUNY Albany (accepted), SUNY Buffalo, and SUNY Stony Brook

University of Missouri has a top ranked journalism school that you might want to research. I have also heard that University of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign has a good reputation for producing journalists with some savvy in the online media world.
