Should I apply to Bowdoin or Bates?

I love both of these schools very much, but I feel as if I am an inferior applicant for Bowdoin and I need some opinions to help me decide which school I am more competitive for!

In my opinion you’re in at Bates RD. Especially because it’s test optional. You should probably just give it a shot at Bowdoin ED and see what happens.

Both schools are test optional.

Is there a reason you wouldn’t apply to both, or are you considering ED?

Hypothetically if you were admitted to both schools, do you have a first choice?

I think you could definitely get into Bates! I’m applying there too!
Bowdoin will definitely be more of a reach, but maybe if you did early decision you could get in. Other than that, don’t send in your SAT I scores, but your subject tests are awesome!
Good luck!
