<p>I currently attend the University of Wisconsin in Madison and am considering applying to GWU because I would like a more political atmosphere in an urban environment. However, GWU is ranked a little lower than UW and I am also heavily involved in my philosophy major and it does not appear that GWU has that strong of a philosophy department, although I could be completely wrong on that. Would it be kind of a mistake for me if I attended GWU? I am looking to attend either law school or grad school in philosophy or mathematics. Thanks for reading.</p>
