Should I apply to Hopkins or UPenn ED? Will chance back if needed.

Hi! So I have pretty much narrowed down my list of schools for the fall, when I will be applying, but I'm still conflicted with where my ED application should go. I have two reach schools I would really like to attend - Hopkins and UPenn - and therefore I decided to send my ED to one of them but I just can't decide. I love both equally, so I would like to send my ED to a school at which I have a higher chance. Please let me know which one is my best bet, thank you!

Once again, please let me know if I should send my ED app to UPenn or Hopkins :)

What’s your prospective major?

I would choose whichever school you like more!
Your stats are great, especially EC!
your UW GPA is a little low but shouldnt be too worrysome bc of all your APs.
Do u have any leadership positions to show to admissions committees, any lubs or anything u started?
I would personally apply ED to UPenn, and stress one factor in particular throughout your application process. It is an exceedingly competitive school and you must show you are unique.
My brother is a rising Senior there (a BBB major) and He ABSOLUTELY love it!
good luck!

chance back!?

STheart, I’m hoping to major in something related to Biology or Chemistry though I am not entirely sure yet.

Penn is obviously more of reach. That said, Penn does accept about half of its class early.

Choose whichever school you would rather go to. If you haven’t made up your mind by November, I would choose JHU. Both are great institutions, but JHU is easier to get into.

Here’s some info about Penn ED: [The Daily Pennsylvanian :: Early decision admission rates drop by less than 1 percent](Early decision admission rates drop by less than 1 percent | The Daily Pennsylvanian)

I believe JHU is about 16% overall, and 30% ED, but I may be wrong.
