<p>If you can find a safety school that you like, and whose application you can fill out in a few days, do it. Unfortunately, weird cases happen sometimes where applicants are rejected from all of their math/reach schools, so you make sure you have a safety you like and would feel comfortable going to.
Also, I’m sorry to be negative, but don’t EXPECT that you’ll be accepted after being deferred. Very students go from deferred to accepted in the RD pool, so just… be prepared.</p>
