Should I apply to Vanderbilt this Jan 3rd?

As of now,

I have been accepted to ND and Georgetown EA already and I am considering applying to Vandy RD. As I plan on deciding my next 4 years, I am considering what would be the best option for doing pre-med? What are your thoughts on these 3 college in terms of prestige, academic rigor, and overall quality of life?

Thanks.

pre-med at ND or Vandy. Georgetown is good, but you won't have any fun.

I will make this easy for you.... Nashville (a nice southern city) or South Bend (a terrible city in INDIANA). But yea go with whatever seems best for you.

who are you kidding, south bend is the university, the town sprang up because of it

mrryprankster:
Georgetown is one of my top 3 schools...why did you say you won't have any fun there?

I just think that the school is very tough and studying is a priority. Not that it is different at any other school mind you but I also feel that Gerogetown has less of a social scene and more of a cultural scene than other schools. Also not many good sports teams.

oh, thats insightful. thanks! I want to major in political science, and I figured a university close to capitol hill would be beneficial..

Haha, my friend is die hard wanting to go to Georgetown also but alas they never seem to like even the most qualified students from our school (small public school, 99th best in country though).

but back to your comment, Georgetown will eba perfect school for your major. There are many schools with great poli. sci. programs and GeorgeT has a good one. If you really think you can get in there without connections of any kind look at some ivy's like Brown or Dartmouth for their programs along with schools like NYU.

Good luck rightwing!

south bend is no good. its gross. there is nothing to do. campus isnt even that great. on the other hand nashville is nice and so is vanderbilt's campus

I don't see any reason not to apply. If you are interested, you should probably visit all three schools and get a first-hand experience on each campus. It's how YOU feel about the schools that's important, and that is best determined by a visit, if at all possible.
