should i apply?

i just got my nov. sat scores

us history- 670 (ouch), math IIC 800, 730
Bio- 710 (gonna retake) korean 790 (native)

SAT 1- math 790, verbal 650, writing710 (10 on essay)

rank- 2/706

some EC

should i apply?

dont u guys think that 670 will ruin my chance?

ok first of all, a 670 isnt that bad of a score, esp for a school that doesnt even requite sat ii's. and plus, ur 800 iic looks really great. there is not one particular thing thats gonna ruin ur chances, if everything else is great like in ur case, so go for it!

nanaijuh is right...a 670 won't "ruin" your chances....

However getting into JHU is pretty hard...

What is your GPA? What type of ECs do you have? What kind of classes have you taken during HS?

All of these things are important...

he's 2/706...i have a feeling his gpa aint to shabby. lol
yea what ec do u have?

jeez..2/706, that's ridiculous. Huge grade huh? I thought my class was big (400)

Class of 770 representing....haha....my class is monstrous....

And class rank isn't really an accurate measurement of GPA...I know plenty of people who have really high class ranks, with big graduating classes....and their GPAs are less than stellar...

class rank is really pointless, my class has 449 and if we used an unweighted 4.0 system there would probably be 35 valedictorians, 20 on a weighted one. My gpa on a 4.0 system is 3.91 UW and that puts me 38/449. I wish my school only reported deciles

my unweigted gpa is 3.95 and theres only 2 valedictorians in my school.
im supposed to be ranked 3 but my counselor told me i was #2

2/706 is definitely a great stat and ur SAT's are good
