I know its a little late to ask this question, but I've been debating this idea for a long time.
I kind of want to go so I can "feel" better prepared and I will have a class or two out of the way. But I'm not sure if I'm willing to cut my summer short. I know that sounds like a dumb reason, but its my last summer with all my friends and I just want to chill over summer.
Plus my parents want me to go. But I feel like if I go I wont be as motivated because I'm somewhat forced.
Any advice? Pros and cons for going? Pros and cons for not going?

its pretty expensive to go (its basically summer school with other prefroshes if i remember). in terms of getting ready for college, my best advice is to take the minimum course load/some easy classes the first quarter if possible. the quarter system is pretty fast and it will help easy ur transition.

my vote is to stay home, maybe take a class or two at a JC (to knock out some GE) and chill with ur friends. the one reason i would want to go to FSSP is to meet other kids, but if you are dorming and you are nice person, you’ll meet lots of people.
