Should I attend the Stella Adler Studio's summer conservatory?

I am currently studying at a university, pursuing degrees in Drama and English.

This past spring, I was accepted into the Stella Adler Conservatory. I chose not to go. However, I am interested in doing summer intensives. From what the administration told me at SA, it's likely that I'd be able to do the summer conservatory, even though I declined admission.

I've read one of Stella's books and I think that her technique and way of teach speaks to me. However, I just want to make sure that this will not be money down the drain ($3,000+ for tuition).

I know that back when Stella was alive, this school was extraordinary. Has it lost it's sparkle?

Is the school reputable?

Do you think that the summer conservatory will benefit me?

Is the LA or NY location "better"? I live on the East Coast, so NY is more convenient. But housing is so expensive, and I love California.

Any other thoughts, experiences, or opinions on the Stella Adler Studio are welcome.

Thanks.

Extremely reputable. Great teachers in the summer sessions, and very rigorous work. NYU still uses them as a conservatory for their students, after dropping several of the other conservatories because they were ill-preparing students. GO. It may change your mind about attending full time, too.
