Can you apply to both CAS and ENG?

Also does BU have EA?
Is it binding?

Can you apply to both CAS and ENG?

Also does BU have EA?
Is it binding?

If you are really anxious you can go to cappex.com they will chance you a thousand times over! For whatever school you are thinking of applying. And if you get real desperate just email the admissions officer and have them chance. I hear that you can get a decision in less than 5 minutes!

I didn't mean that you WILL grad in 5 years. Just that it could happen. I'm just saying that CAS is not easier to get into than ENG. Or SMG. Or COM.

Does BU have EA or ED?
Is it binding in anyway?

They have ED. Yes, it is binding.

By Binding does it mean you can only apply to one ED?
Like could I still apply to a non-binding ED like NEU?

Early decision means it's binding. You can only apply to one ED. Early action is non-binding. Northeastern is EA.

So if I am accepted, I must go.....I can't take that risk if I get accepted to MIT..etc.

Yes even if they give you a dollor for fin. aid, YOU HAVE TO GO!!!

thats tough

BTW, Shouldn't the college its self handle ED?
I mean why would say MIT care if I applied ED to BU?

Couldn't I be accepted somewhere else and say "screw you" to BU and go somewhere else?

Will ED GREATLY improve my chances?

You couldn't just say, "screw you", because you have to sign a legally-binding contract.

you can say "screw you" and go somewhere else if you really wanted to. that being said, there are consequences. the school you decide to go to instead of BU may rescind your admission. BU may retaliate against your high school and not accept anyone from it for a number of years. you'd have to be a pretty spineless person to reject an ED decision, but it isn't impossible to do.

*BU may retaliate against your high school *

LULZ, Thats all right, I hate my school, It is a joke. High School as a whole is a joke.

Will it greatly improve my shot?
Would it be like 90% to 50% shot?

Hontesly bruh, we aren't admission officers. You wouldn't know until you apply and get a letter in the mail saying you were accepted or denied. Its just that simple sometimes.

If you are that concerned call the admission office! Ask them all of the questions you are asking us. In reality our opinions don't matter. We will not be reading your application the admission office will! You may want to think about receiving counseling for your admission obsession.

I took the liberty of looking up BU Office Info.

BTW, I always thought ED was pending acceptable FA?

Also, How would I apply for a Double Major if it is cross department?
Like Physics is a in Art and Sciences while EE or Aerospace Engineering is in ENG?

That would be BUCOP (bu collaborative degree program). You would get one degree from each school. It's difficult when one of the schools is SMG or ENG becuase they can be time intensive, but it's definitely possible. MAybe someone that's done bucop before can provide more info on if you apply before or after you get in, I believe you only apply to one of the schools you want to bucop in and then add the second school once you get in.

You apply for BUCOP after (I think) sophomore year. One of my coworkers in BUCOP'ing in SMG and CAS (Economics), so I'll ask him tomorrow.
