should i be flipping out?

Tonight, after waiting to hear back from Rutgers for over three weeks (they recieved all my credentials nov. 13) my parents gave me the "we're concerned about you" talk, because i have not yet gotten into any colleges yet.

So heres the deal, i didnt think id have a problem with getting into Rutgers, but now im worried. Please help me and let me know what my chances are. Thanks.

SATs: 680 M 660 V 680 W
GPA: we dont do it on a 4 pt scale. 92.74
Rank: 23/584

All honors/ AP course.

Once again, thanks.

Have you signed in and checked your status on line and if you have and they have not posted anything why not call admissions and say that you were wondering if anything was missing from you application. then they can tell you if you got in or not. Good luck just call them

hmcxx, to which school did you apply? Your stats are very solid, so I'd expect you to get into most of the Rutgers colleges, except maybe pharmacy. You may have to wait a bit before hearing from them (and the other colleges to which you have applied) because the timing of your submission is not optimal. Thanksgiving hit a couple of weeks after you applied, and now Christmas and Hanukkah are looming on the horizon. Still, it should only be a matter of time before the acceptances start rolling in, and you can point a finger at the rents and say, "Oh ye of little faith!" Good luck!

well i applied to nb arts and science, pharmacy and engineering. i called up undergrad adm. and they told me they had everything
i thought rutgers was a safety/match for me..but you see the thing is, knowing my luck, anything could happen

Relax - you should be ok .

hahhaha hmcxx, you are in the same exact predicament as me. I applied eng. as 1st choice and then arts & Sciences as 2nd choice and then pharmacy as sort of a joke...it turns out that "joke" is coming back to bite me in the a** haha. I applied like the 14th, so i went to my counselor who called RU admissions and they said I was in at engineering and arts/sciences, but pharmacy was going to the committee: it's a really tough program to get into. Moral is, they can't send their decision out until they have a decision on every program you apply for, so don't fret. You'll get in.

your parents are concerned about the schools you get into with those grades? I am not familiar with the many programs at rutgers, but with those grades and scores, I think you'll be golden. especially if you are in state.

Don't worry.

You're in.

yup dont wry...but no offense, according to ur stats, i dont know about pharmacy. good luck anyway!
