Well, i was accepted to Rice University through Interim Decision...and I also received the Trustee Distinguished Scholarship. Up until 2nd semester of my senior year...i had made straight A's. Right now it looks like I'll be making 2 C's (possibly 3..!) and 2 B's in my last semester of high school. Do you think that I would get my acceptance or my scholarship revoked from Rice for these letter grades? I don't know if I should be freaking out or not..

bump da bump

no, probably not...besides, it's too late anyway

ugggh i dunno about rice cancelling ur app but maybe u might lose the scholarship. im guessing u were under senorititis?

If I were you, I might have my GC call on your behalf. Because that is a pretty serious drop. I think what happens depends to an extent on why your grades dropped so much (ie. It's better for you if you had a good reason for the change, like mono, than if you simply stopped doing your work).

You definitely won't get your admission rescinded (you'd have to get multiple D's and F's for that), but you might lose your scholarship.

It's too late to do anything about it, so don't freak out. You'll just have to wait and hope for the best.

your admission to rice will be fine, you have to seriously mess up for them to even call you or your guidance counselor to see what's up.

You might lose your scholarship since the Presidential Trustee's is a big deal. But if you do, financial aid will still be there. Hopefully you will qualify for some.

You could also try to explain. I'm sure they would call you before they make final decisions. If there is a logical reason, just say it. Don't try to hide it or lie. If it's because of seniorities. Well, make it sound prettier than that...

i really dont think u have anything to worry about...not even lose the scholarship....chilax man.
