Should I be hopeful for these schools?

Hi, all,
I’m planning on applying to Brown ED, and then for RD NYU, UC-Berekley, Tufts, UNC (In state for me), and Northwestern.
What are my chances at these schools? I’m hopeful for UNC, especially since it’s in-state, but some of the other’s are low-high reaches I feel like. I would be applying for Urban and Environmental Studies!

GPA: 4.0 UW/5.1W (6 point scale)
Class Rank: Top 5 out of 517
ACT: 35 composite with a 9 writing
SAT II: 730 Math I, 800 USH
5’s on AP Stat, Lang, Environmental Science, Human Geo, US History, and Research (3 on AP Seminar that I’m not including on my application)
AP Capstone Diploma
NMSC Semi-Finalist

Senior Year Classes:
AP Bio
AP AB Calc
Spanish IV H
AP Psych
AP Lit
Civics H
Student Leadership (For student government)

  • Freshman, Sophomore Class President
  • Student Body VP as a Junior
  • Currently Student Body President
  • Science Honor Society President (Junior and Senior Year)
  • Team captain for school's Brain Games team
  • Full time Summer Camp Counselor (also work 12 weekends in the fall and spring)
  • Run my own small lacrosse business, deal with advertising and wholesale
  • Completed research on political representation of minority populations, culminating in a 37 page paper - Given a 5 on AP Research exam for this
  • 4 year lacrosse player for a state championship winning team (3 years on varsity)
  • US Lacrosse Academic All-American
  • Regular volunteer lacrosse coach
  • Regular volunteer at a local science museum

My LOR’s and Essays are things that I am confident in, but those are hard for me to judge objectively.
Thank you so much for the help!

Your guidance counselor probably knows better than we do since you are in-state, but to me UNC looks like both a great school and a solid match for you with your strong stats. I think that the rest range from low reach to reach, but as long as you are sure that UNC is safe you are already in great shape!
