should i be hyperventilating over this?

bearfacts says that i am missing a certain document, so my financial aid file is incomplete. i mailed in a copy of this document about three months ago, but i received an e-mail saying that i have to personally bring in the original copy to berkeley. i won't be in berkeley until move-in day, which is august 18/19. the problem is that i received another e-mail which said that fees for fall 2007 will be assessed on july 15th and are due on august 15th. but since my financial aid file won't be complete until august 18th (at the earliest), and since bearfacts doesn't allow you to accept your loans until your financial aid file is complete, does that mean that when my fees are assessed on july 15th, they won't take into consideration the loans that i plan to accept, and the fees will thus be much higher than i expect/can afford?

p.s. this is my 100th post. how exciting ;)

why dont you call them and see what you need to do?

i called them quite a few times yesterday and kept getting a busy signal
today i was able to get through but gave up after being on hold for over twenty minutes
also, i sent them an e-mail about this last week

i was in a similar situation last year in which they requested that i submit a verification form to the FAO. i submitted it and it took a good amount of time (maybe 2 months, though, not 3) before the status on bearfacts was finally changed to complete. best thing to do is just give them a call, which i see you've already done. a lot of times they have received your info/forms, but we have no way of knowing so because they don't tend to update the profile as showing "in process"
