should i be panicking???

i havent received any blue postcard acknwledging m application. i submitted my application in December. does that mean they havent got my app? has evryone here got their confirmation postcards???

Did you apply online? If you did and JHU hasn't contacted you about missing materials, I don't think you should panic. They contact you through email if stuff is missing and sometimes they'll call you up.

If it's of any help, I didn't recieve any postcard as yet too. But then International mail always takes time.

I didn't get a postcard, but I applied online. I don't think we should worry toooo much.

Likewise; I'm assuming that everything's reached as I haven't received any notices of missing information. As Lakshya said, if you're an International student then you're pretty much resigning yourself to receiving information from colleges much later than you were supposed to. (I just hope that any missing information would have been communicated through email and not snail mail otherwise that opens up another can of worms)

As I have stated before...

...there is no need to worry. We are still processing application materials. In late February, once we have processed all received application materials, we will contact students whose applications remain incomplete. Those students will be given an opportunity to provide us with any missing items before we complete the evaluation of their applications. Rest assured that application files are checked carefully for completeness.

If you have to check, you may do so by calling 410-516-8171 -- AFTER MARCH 1ST. If you call (AFTER MARCH 1) we will not go through your application file to tell you what specifically has been received, but will check our applicant database to tell you if your file is complete or incomplete. If incomplete we will inform you what is missing, but that should have already happened by e-mail or phone call (see answer above).

And YES it does take postcards A LONG TIME to reach international addresses.

good to know that i am not the only one. but i actually live in USA so the postcard should have reached me. anyways will try not to worry. hopefully they have my app

don;t wrry i personally got my postcard in calif. 1 week b4 decision release so it's just probably late =(

i've gotten two same blue postcards from jhu...i guess it was a mistake?

I didn't (or at least don't think) I received a postcard. All is well, though.
