Should I be sending my AP scores too?

I never sent my AP scores in. Rice University told me that AP scores don't make any difference. Now I am wondering if I should have sent them.

Does anyone here send AP scores in? Someone else here posted about case studies, and that one showed AP scores for all those case studies. I have 6 passed AP tests and am taking 6 AP classes this year. The passed tests are all pretty much 4's.

For admissions AP scores are self-reported. You only send an AP Score Report to the school where you matriculate.

I didn’t send in my AP scores and I was accepted to the University of Pennsylvania - don’t stress  it’ll all be over soon!

Great question.

Some schools actually require you to send official score reports if you want the AP scores considered for admissions.

I remember calling each of the schools that my daughter applied to. Some would accept self-reporting, and some wanted official reports . It varied by school. It was expensive.

You should self report your AP scores on your applications. That’s important. Official score reports for APs are not important at nearly all schools (except after you are admitted to get credit or for placement). Only a very few want official reports.
