Should I be shocked I got no scholarships?

I got my acceptance letter a couple of days ago, but with no scholarship? My brother before got a $13,000 scholarship and his ranking was sixty spots lower than mine, and his SAT score was 200 points lower?
Here are my stats:
Basically my GPA is 4.0+ weighted, probably 3.7-3.8 unweighted
Ranked top 5% in class (12/486)
Very rigorous schedule, senior Schedule:
AP Calculus
AP Biology
AP Physics
AP English
AP Psychology
Honors Spanish V

And here comes the part that kills me:
SAT 1890 (680 M, 600R, 610W)
SAT II: 680 Chemistry, 670 US History
ACT: 28 (32M, 29R, 26W, 26S)
Will be retaking ACT and SAT in December, Im sure I'll score better on the ACT since I took the test with little to no preparation and had to literally guess in ten science questions since time ran out along with five in reading

Extracurricular:
Kid to Kid 9th Grade-(Drug and Alcohol Awareness Group)

Am I really unqualified to get a scholarship? Ursinus was where I was certain I was going, but with no merit aid, there is no way I can afford this?

that is surprising, but i dont think you should be worried. i got my acceptance letter last week tuesday and it said nothing about scholarships. on thursday or friday of the same week i got a letter telling me of a scholarship i had received with promise of a financial aid package coming soon. moral of the story? just because they didnt tell you immediately, doesnt mean you wont be receiving money from them…

also, is your brother being recruited to play a sport by any chance? that could be the reason he received so much money

He was offered to tryout for the track team but hes horrendous, he quit after a week of practice I think?

However, he was student council president for two years, first time in school history, ambassador for our school and some other leadership things, so I think its because of that

yea ursinus is big on extra curriculurs, especially leadership roles such as those…

anyway, just keep looking. im sure the money will come soon

I received my merit aid letter around 2 weeks after my acceptance letter, so don’t worry. I’m sure you’ll get money. I received $20,000/year.

my stats, if you wanted to know:
SAT: 1310/1600, 1990/2400
SAT IIs: 790 on US history, 690 on Math II
GPA: 104 on a 100 scale
rank: 4 out of 650 students
classes: 5 AP classes total (1 junior year, 4 senior year) and the rest honor classes

Usually it’s round 1: what colleges do I want to get into?

round 2: what colleges did I actually get into?

round 3: what colleges can I actually afford to attend?
