Should I be worried about my transcripts & test scores?

I applied last night and I checked the Online Status Check this morning and it said that my transcripts and test scores have not been received yet. However, I had sent in everything a few weeks ago before applying. All of the 4 other colleges that I applied to got them, however I don't know what is going on with FSU. I called the Office of Admissions and this girl with an attitude picked up and said I can either trust FSU to find my stuff and match it to my application or send them all over again. Well it's too late for me to send anything in right now and I don't want to spend more money. The Online Status Check did say that it would take up to a week to update everything on the OSC, but I'm just worried that FSU misplaced my files or something. =/ I'm hoping that if all 4 of my other schools got it, then hopefully FSU should too.

FSU is just sorta slow when it comes to updating your online status check. I’m almost certain that they received your files by now. The deadline is only a few days from now so that’s why things are going kind of sluggish. Try calling them again tomorrow just to be sure, though…most of the admissions people are super nice. Call and ask for confirmation if they received your stuff…they should ask you for your name and birthday, and that will probably catch their attention to update your status check.

I think I talked to the sassy girl at one point, too…I was asking if I’d get any leniency if one of my transcripts came in late while the rest of the app came in on time, and she just repeated to me that it “HAS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE 17TH.”

Lol sounds like her. I checked this morning and my transcripts is received but not my test scores yet. Now I took my act in June and did the free delivery thing when you sign up. Would FSU have my score on file even thought it was a while ago?

If it’s not updated on the 17th, I’d call them again and make sure they have it. Just keep in mind how many people they are dealing with, and you’d have to imagine they get a lot of frustrating questions.

If you sent it on time and they misplaced it, I’d imagine they’d have to consider you for the early decision date.

I called them again and they said that I should fax them my score report, but I don’t even have a fax. =/

FSU office of Admission contact information:

Telephone Numbers

Phone - 850.644.6200
Fax - 850.644.0197

You can go to a place that offers fax services.

I believe FedEx Office locations, as well as UPS stores may offer this.

This post is contradictory to my application process as my school submitted my transcript during early September and I officially applied online on October 3rd. All of the information was uploaded immediately ( within seconds) including receipt my high school transcript and ACT score. If your information is still pending, I would be seriously worried as the deadline is fast approaching. Good Luck 1

I imagine Kinko’s offer fax service as well as well as a lot of those pac an ship stores…

If I fax my transcript on Monday will it be at FSU exactly on monday?

You are cutting this application thing so close—
Suggestion- Are you close enough to Tallahassee
to hand-deliver your documentation?
The moment you fax something, it will arrive that moment.
The only problem is that the fax may be filled with many other last minute applications.
Don’t wait until Monday, Fax it now.

Even though I’m a bit worried, I’m pretty sure the main reason why my test scores haven’t shown up is because it’s so close to the deadline. FSU did post a notice that said it could take 10-15 days for anything to show up.

If it was sent, they likely have it but have not posted it yet. The phones will be crazy as well tomorrow. In years pasts, if your application/resume/essay was in by the deadline, and your transcripts/scores/other had been received but not posted yet, there was no problem.

I suggest emailing them about the status of what they have if you are worried. Calling on the last day will not be productive. As the announcement says, do not sent things again, just because they have not posted.
