Should I bother applying to Haas as a transfer?

I am from a SoCal CC and initially wanted to apply to Haas. I heard that PreReq GPA is more important than overall GPA, and in the Haas classes, I have gotten all As but got a C in CalcII and have yet to complete Stats or the MicroEcon (I'll be doing that over winter) so my PreReq GPA is 3.5 including the English (IDK if this counts as a prereq, if not then my GPA will be lower), Intro To Business, Calc I & II, and Macro Econ. My overall GPA will be 3.82.

Considering my prereq GPA, would be I be shooting myself in the foot by applying when I could probably get in for Econ or a different major? I feel my only chance are my essays/resume that are going to show my background in finance and business, but I'm still unsure.

Anyone care to chime in with their Haas transfer experience or could offer advice?

I’m a high school senior but I feel like I have become a Haas expert by researching 24/7 about it… LOL.
From what I know, GPA of 3.82 isn’t at all that bad, but also not good, but regarding your PreReq GPA of 3.50, that could definitely be a factor to a rejection. But who knows? Strong essays and solid ECs could help you significantly through the admission process. Is Haas your only option?
