I've posted about my SAT I scores before, but now I have my SAT II scores back, and I am not sure whether or not it would even be worthwhile retaking the SAT I (due to CR). I took the SAT I in March, and I received 800 M, 670 CR, and 780 W (2250 combined score). I looked at my SAT II scores from June, which were 800 Math II, 800 Chemistry, 790 Biology M. Should I bother retaking the SAT I because of critical reading? My SAT II scores are near perfect, so would that compensate for the low CR score?

you’re prolly fine.

great job on those subject test scores!

Nah, I wouldn’t worry about it – your SAT scores certainly aren’t going to keep you out.

You should retake. Don’t lose out on MIT because of a single score. Retake and be safe.

If I’m not mistaken,
MIT takes your highest scores that you got in each section.
I THINK that even if you retook the SAT 1, and got a lower math score but a way higher CR score, then MIT would take that score.
I THINK this is the case. Don’t quote me on it.

^Ya I think that too. I believe they do like a hoslitic grading process where they look at only what is good for the applicant.

Yes, MIT superscores.
