<p>My sister is a high school senior who is going to a community college for one year next year (for money reasons) and plans to transfer to a more prestigious school the following year.</p>
<p>She only took the SAT (got a 2130) but never tried taking the ACT. Should she try to take the ACT during the spring of her senior year, since she already knows she'll be transferring out next year? She wants to see if she can do better on the ACT than she did on the SAT, but will prestigious colleges frown upon scores attained during spring of senior year of high school (since that isn't exactly the norm)?</p>
