Got 790 on Math II but I got 710 on Chemistry. I'm not really sure on where I'm going to apply, but I'm planning on majoring in some type of engineering or computer science. 3.9 UW GPA, 33 on ACT. Is it worth retaking Chemistry or should I just ignore it?

No, your major does not have anything to do with Chemistry so dont stress to much

However, ITS always good to stand out above others so if u think u can get better score than
what you got, definitely go for it, i mean higher scores are better!

Also colleges will see how you stood above others…

So I shouldn’t really worry about it? I feel like my Math II score is definitely good enough, and since I didn’t take AP/Honors Chem (not offered at my school) colleges might be a little more lenient with the Chem score.

Personally if I were you I would retake it. While 710 is pretty good, since you’re planning on going into engineering you would probably want to have a 750+ on a science subject test…

What about going through an AP Chemistry Prep book over the summer?

True, true. Will colleges see that I didn’t take AP/Honors Chemistry and cut me a little slack on that score though?
