Should I bother with ED/EA

I need help deciding whether to ED or not.
I have an 87.5 unweighted GPA, and my school is the 20th best public school in the US, but it doesn't rank (if it did, I'd guess that i'd be top 15-25%). I'm a senior this year and I'm taking AP Calc AB, AP Environmental science, AP Literature and AP Statistics. The only other special course I've taken before senior year are Honors Geometry, Honors physics and Honors English. I took two courses at brown university for credit and got a pass in one and a B in the other. My exam grades are:

SAT: 2030/2400 1380/1600 (taking again)
ACT: 31 (taking again)
SATII: Math 1c- 770 Chemistry 620 (taking again)

My ECs:
i've been on my school senate for four years (counting this year)
I've taught handicapped children for 2 years (one for volunteer and one paid)
I've volunteered at my local Hindu temple for four years and very devoted to my culture/religion
I've done math team my junior and senior year
I've volunteered at a elementary school for three years, helping kids play sports and do homework/art projects
and I'm going to do robotics senior year.

If I ED/EA to:
Cornell
Brown
Georgetown
Northwestern
Dartmouth or
U Chicago

will I get in to any of them? More importantly, will I get rejected by any of them? That's my main fear. I don't want to be rejected early. So, should I early a/d any of them, or should I go on the hope of getting in on regular decision? Thanks for any help anyone can give me!!!

First of all, you gotta make sure to ED to the school you like. Rankings aside, those schools on your list are quite different from each other. Keep in mind that once ur in at ED, ur required to attend. Regardless, I would say that all the schools on your list are reaches given your stats.

Truthfully, I would be very happy at any of those schools. I've visited them all. Will i get rejected from any if I ED? Is there anything I can do to improve my chances? How far a reach are those schools?

You may be able to improve your chances if you apply RD after retaking the SAT/ACT. Your ACT and SAT scores put you in the bottom 50 percentile for many of the schools you are applying to. REMEMBER: A school will not accept a student ED if they won't accept him RD as well. For most schools, admission rates for ED is higher than RD because the applicants are READY: the students are satisfied with their test scores and academic standings. You should also research which colleges students from your hs get into easily. For my school, students get into Cornell, Harvard, UMich, and NYU easily, but get rejected to Dartmouth.

^Yeah, from what I hear, Dartmouth weighs test scores in the admissions process heavily. If you want to apply there, do it RD and boost your scores.

I took the SAT again, and this time I got a 2160/2400 and a 1460/1600 both superscored and all sections higher than the last time. Is that a huge improvement?
