Should I break room-board costs?

<p>Hi!</p>

<p>I got a faboulous financial aid package, really low loans the rest grants. (Tuition is covered with the package)
The thing is, I would have to pay $13000 for room and board. Unfortunately I can't afford the $13000.</p>

<p>Since its room and board is it ok to ask for a reconsideration?</p>

<p>I could hardly afford 7000, but my parents and I would do what it takes to afford those 7000 and I wouldnt mind getting another loan for the remaining 6000.
I really want to attend to this school, really really really, I would do anything to attend.</p>

If I ask for a reconsideration (if possible) would the school get offended and rescind my admission or package? </p>

<p>If after “reconsidering it” they don’t offer me anything else, would I keep what I have now? or are they going to say We can;t then don’t come, goodbye?</p>

<p>What school is this? You can ask but many don’t offer grants for room and board. They will not take back your current offer.</p>

<p>Find a cheaper apartment and be very frugal with food, use a lot of coupons.</p>
