well first of all if if you bring a car you can't drive to class... I think its not too useful to bring a bike to ucla since you have to go through a crowded downhill then go uphill again for class while there are not many bike racks... and not a lot of people ride bikes i think, i'll be lucky to see 2 bike riders in 1 day... lol

it's been said that a bike is recommended only if u live off-campus. for dorm living, perhaps a scooter or a skateboard ^^

im wondering if i should bring a bike also because i have a math lecture at rolfe hall this fall and i have 10 minutes to get to chem at young hall. is it possible to walk from rolfe to young within 10 minutes?

Yeah, you just gotta power walk.

not even, rolfe isn't that far off, i had to go from franz to bunche in 10 min and i could make it without power walking lol

Well, during spring 08, I went from La Kretz to Bunche in 15 min, stopping for a salad along the way.

Rolfe to Young is totes fine.

I have class (summer session) in Boelter and I park in structure 3 and it only takes me like 9 minutes to get to class...

wow La Kretz to Bunche in 15 min with stoppage on the way, kudos to you :) i had a final in La Kretz and it took me like 20 minutes to find it lmao

yeah I was late the first day so I had to powerwalk. I was pretty surprised I made it too lol

I've power walked my ass to la kretz way to many times. Spam almost got killed by a bike on bruin hill.

im living at sproul this year and im bringing a bike. it cuts off like 5 min going the charles e. young way to north campus (which can be good when you're in a hurry)..but i probably wont be using it too much. a bike is no use near the buildings, just for quick trips to westwood and the outer parts of campus
