Is it a good idea to bring a suit to school if I'm a business major?

If so, what color is best?

Is it a good idea to bring a suit to school if I'm a business major?

If so, what color is best?

A suit is an absolute necessity for a Kelley student. Charcoal or navy are preferable.

What about slacks & a navy blazer?

Slacks and a blazer are great for business casual, which you will need on occasion, but I would certainly recommend a suit as well because there will be many times when you will need business professional attire.

You will definitely need an actual suit. You don’t need a nice suit though if cost is a concern. I’d especially recommend getting a machine washable one because you may be wearing it a lot.

You’ll definitely want an actual suit, if only for career fairs and other networking events. Dry cleaning is cheap at the place near TIS

would you say suit is required for freshman as well?

newfreshman, yes - I think all of the answers above are meant for freshmen.

yikes glad i saw this sounds like the stand-by navy blazer isn’t enough
thx

Though I think these answers are for a freshman Kelley/Pre-Kelley student.
