I'm taking APUSH next year. Is AMSCO like really helpful or will I do with my Textbook?

I suggest buying it. From what I heard, most of the USH AP textbooks are too detailed for the exam. Plus the content in AMSCO is probably more lucid I’m going to get it as soon as school starts [I think my teacher is going to have us get it anyway]

Yeah, I’m waiting to see if that’s what we use for APUSH. I don’t really like using more than one text though, it gets confusing lol but we’ll see thanks!

Buy it. Now. It’s the best. Use it hand in hand with your text book. The night before a chapter test, read the corresponding AMSCO chapter and do the chapter review multiple choice questions. To study for the AP exam and the SAT II, just read the book a couple times through and do some practice tests. For me, it was good for a 5 and an 800.

Definitely get Amsco (whether you buy it or not). Coupled with Crash Course, you’re virtually guaranteed a 5.

AMSCO is heavenly.

YES! My only regret is that I did not buy it until second semester. It is absolutely fantastic for studying for tests in class and prepping for the AP exam. Plus, it is a second resource if you feel that your text does not explain something well or spends so much time on a topic that you don’t know what’s important.

Definitely! I’m taking APUSH this year and for the first test I studied my notes AND AMSCO and I turned out to be the only one in the class who got an A on the test.

Yeah, get it!

There’s this SWEET DEAL going on at Demonoid right now! They’re giving it out - 100% free!!!

I heard amsco is good, though it’s not on the Canadian amazon site (the last time I checked) and I’m too cheap to get it from an American bookstore.
